Teddy and I were so excited when we thought of all the energy a project like ours could generate and we still are... but getting the momentum going in a far flung Diaspora is no easy thing. Thanks for that extra bit of energy!

Thanks for the mention David, we are working hard to engage the African diaspora into an active developmental roll. I am just now realizing how hard a task that is...

Thanks for the help....

Thanks for sharing this, David.
As you may know, I am a "Boliviano Transnacional". Yes, I like to call my self as "transnational" =) .... sometimes I also define myself as a "Boliviano Global".

The meaning of "bolivianidad" changed for me after living outside my country of origin... and this is great... I discovered that I can live wherever I want and at the same time contribute to my country of origin - reinforcing my sense of "bolivianity".

Maybe I am not the only one feeling like this.

Thank you for mentioning Foko's efforts we don't deserve all this kindness, our friends in Madagascar are the ones who are doing the most of the hard work while everyday's life difficulties. They wanted to be heard and their reality to be known by the world, we're only blogging .
All of the diasporan kids, including you now, have their personal reason to help or not make a single move. But nobody can't avoid the fact that we have everything in our hands to change things back there by using what we got out here.
Maybe internet was the catalyst we were all waiting for, not only because of its exceptional potentialities to amplify and publicize the tiniest gesture such as ...cliking on "donate", but also for the reassuring feeling that we're not alone and many are already looking for more networking and participating.
Misaotra betsaka !
