Medea's contribution to the discussion brings a sad fact to an issue that I think has another edge. Yes, a blog is not going to help you with your crops, but will will have an impact on the community. Bringing ICT's skills and self expression to a community opens new doors to self-reflection and hunger for new knowledge. It will not have a direct economic impact in the short run but it will inspire people to think about their sorroundings. I am really impressed with your work and the pace of it.

It seems that if it doesn´t have the "international seal of approval" it doesn´t get much headspace at home.
