Gilberto Gil Live in Berkeley

We just got back from seeing Brazil’s 65-year-old Minister of Culture, Gilberto Gil put on an amazing concert at UC Berkeley.

I’m sure that Daniella Thompson will be writing about the show soon.

Here are two tracks I recorded on my cell phone (and they sound like it):

    Hi, I am taking my non-Portuguese speaking children to see Gilberto Gil this Wednesday in Redwood City. I want to prepare them as much as possible, so could you please tell me what songs he sang that aren’t part of his Luminoso CD? I have a lot of his stuff, but only have time to prepare them with a few. Thanks!
