Wherein Booger explains her philosophy on waking up and why she avoids it at all costs.
Also, a hefty round of applause for DJ Sparsh on the 1’s and 2’s who last week was admitted to Georgetown Law School where he will follow in Abogado’s righteous footsteps and defend those poor, vulnerable multinational corporations while just getting by on a measly six-figure salary.
Obviously, the most important significance is that I will have one more pool-side guest house to call my own whenever I feel like it. Damn do I know how to pick my friends.

i can atest that having friends who chose better career paths (in the monetary sense) than i can provide benefits when one needs places to crash in one’s travels.
I only listened to this because it featured “Booger” only to hear her say that she knows no one in San Francisco. I guess our brunch together wasn’t all that memorable. The Oso giggling was quite entertaining, though, and made the listen worthwhile.
Myke,
We’re talking more than crashing … we’re talking the power of eminent domain.
J-Wo,
Booger has a complex in calling my friends her own. That doesn’t mean she won’t knock on your door and demand some paella though. I’m not surprised that the “only reason” you listened is because of her though … I mean, you’re top three artists on last.fm are like Boz Scaggs, Jimmy Buffet, and Rich Mullins … I’ve lost all hope.
Ooh, poor Booger is gonna starve per your comment on my musical tastes.
I’m with Booger all the way. Sleep is the best thing! If I did not need to wake up, I wouldn’t, but life doesn’t work that way. Sadly I have to wake up early all the time..Ahhh the good ol’ teenage years where sleep was all there was. Let your sister sleep..there really doesn’t have to be an explaination..jeje
mi casa es su casa, mi student loans son su student loans
Oso, in this show you sound Canadian (which is not necessarily a bad thing). And Booger sounds like Kathleen Turner…
Canadian? Funny … that’s actually my ‘mentally challenged’ accent reserved especially for booger. I’m not sure when we started speaking to each other like Corky and Amanda, but we do. Hmm, who knows, maybe Canadian and Down’s Syndrome aren’t so far apart?
I’m with Booger. Waking up is no fun. You and Sparsh are doing a great job on the podcasts. They help the time at work go by a little quicker.
i just want to add that im pretty sure i played on that version of custom concern too, and my name is def not hari or rex. respect.
Ha, is that better?
Thank you so much. I was interviewing a recent college grad and your ‘cast was playing in the background. She literally squealed when she heard Jack Johnson. “oooh, hoe cool. Funny, you you look too old to like him”… ouch.
Hector,
I’m glad that you liked it. But I’m obliged to say … that Jack Johnson track was by far the “least cool” song on the mix. In fact, I included specifically to incite hipster sensibilities.
i played on that version of Custom Concern also and my name is not either Via nor Violenta. props tho. dude desmond dekker just died. sucks. poor israelities
