i was in LA over the weekend hanging with my ladies. we had a good time. I did what i usually did while in Los Angeles: drive in cars. boooring. i did get some good eartime with KXLU, or as I like to call it, The Best Thing About Los Angeles. while listening me and my girl caught wind of a song by a certain mistress named Scout Niblett.

“Hey who are you playing right now?” I asked the DJ
“Scout Niblett” he said.
“What did you say??” I asked the DJ.

“whatever dude” and i hung up on him because after all, this was Los Angeles.

The song was great tho, so now that i’m back in NYC at work (read: downloading music) i got a hold of her new album Kidnapped By Neptune. this stuff is wicked cool. she sings, she screams, she whispers, she has songs with distorted guitars, songs with just drums and singing, she has songs with no drums, she sings about drinking, she’s from NOtthingham UK. You sold yet? I am. get this download. i had to torrent it to get it quickly cause i got no patience. after all, i’m an american.
