irasali,

The problem isn't that you use your credit card, it's that you say venti. ;)

ricia,

The people who fill up the water bottles in the first place also do so at the tap. It just happens to be in Fiji or the Alps.

shimonkey,

You are completely invited to my taste test with abogado. I hope you don't cry easily.

What's funny is that the day after writing this post, I went to Cafe Influx with a friend who nearly exploded after seeing they had bottled water from Norway. Silly friends.

Oso,
I recently taste-tested my friend's tap water/purified water faucets (not to prove a point, just to see if we could tell any difference) and I could tell the purified water was purified before I even tasted the tap water. Tasty too.

That said, I don't buy bottled water and stand by my conviction that I didn't come all the way to America not to be able to drink the goddamn tap water!

P.S. I use Firefox almost all the time, usually Explorer only for sites that I know don't work on Firefox. Don't know why I never tried Firefox with yours.

Oso -

Look at that, I install the super-duper gmail nifty AJAX spell checker just for you and you don’t even use it. I’m definitely giving you a taste test next week.

I concede my spelling was subpar, and I submit that as a child of Microsoft Word I should no longer be required to spell anything correctly. I will utilize your handy-dandy spelling device thingy for the foreseeable future.

Taste test? Ha! I know my Fiji water buddy, you're going down.

Can't swim, but 'dito' on the affects of being in water. All is good and beautiful, s'long as ya don't drown.

When I was a kid, I remember my mother quite suddenly scoffing at a commercial on the tele "Next thing, they'll be selling water in a bottle!".

I refill empty water bottles with tap water so as to carry de l'eau with. This is apparently a very amusing habit, according to several witnesses. Until recently I only ordered small or large cups of whatever, now I have to ask what large looks like to avoid purchasing a litre bucket o'whatever. It's all quite beyond me, really. Feel like a stranger in a strange land at times. Thus my advice would be to pretend your under water when at work. Then the noise and energy is reduced to refractions of sound and light and you will feel well humoured by the adequacies and failings of your psychic abilities, for the duration of your shift.

EMC,

I think love is meant for hurting.

Beckie,

Bunnies can't swim.

Bobbo,

Where'd you go? This was reunion time. We were gonna rent motorcycles. Oh wait, you probably wouldn't like that.

swervecurve,

We obviously need to go for some wine.

Cindylu,

Yesterday I was looking for sunglasses that were cool, but not too cool. The problem is the only sunglasses they sell these days are too cool sunglasses. And the only people who can pull off too cool sunglasses are you and EMC. I mean, can you imagine HP or I wearing those things. Which is to say, I like the new gravatar.

Irasali,

Last year I got "swimmer's ear" which was one of the most frustrating and painful weeks of my life. I've actually been meaning to buy those little silicon things you can stick in there to keep the water out. I'll let you know how they work.

what happened to you that day? and why are you doing coffee again.
bottled h2o is definitely a sign of a bored society. Wine on the hand, that's a way to commune with our past, and our future, I hope.

Oso,

It's ok, I've seen Penn and Teller: Bullshit! also. I don't think I could tell the difference. Plus I won't be back in LA until August 15th.
