so i got me a friend. no need to start cheering, i’m not looking for feigned support. anyway, my friend Inder Comar wrote a book, its called Restoring the Community. Its a dark tale that takes place in the future, where humans are robots and robots are humans. the main character is named Zydego and he has been enslaved for a crime he did not commit but the police don’t believe him because his brainwaves tell a different story (think polygraph of the future). Zydego escapes and learns that he has had a different set of brainwaves implanted in his head. Zydego goes on a journey to find the owner of the anonymous set of brain waves and slowly uncovers a government plot to overthrow the government. he also meets a mysterious woman who refuses to disclose information about her mysterious past. her name is Fornata and he’s not sure whose side she’s on. he also meets a young buck named Gilly, an aspiring robot cowboy whose curiosity and naivete land the three in all sorts of dangerous situations. its eerie, his visions of the dystopic future are unsettling yet thoroughly convincing. think Orwell and Bronte’s lovechild.
in all serious tho, i do have a friend named Inder Comar. he just wrote a book called Restoring the Community , and its about restoring this community of ours. hes got some good ideas, none of which (unfortunately) have anything to do with avoiding the impending dystopic future i described above. anyway, Inder talks about how consumerism keeps you enslaved and how the struggle for wealth ultimately hurts the individual and his community. trust me, he writes it a lot better than i paraphrase it (he capitalizes words like a real college-boy). anyway its an interesting read and its also Booklocker’s #1 bestseller!! and thats without any mention of the words “photon gun” or “psychological thriller”. i don’t believe it either. From what i’ve read so far, the book is filled with interesting tips on how to acquire as many possessions as possible; it stresses the important role conspicuous consumption plays in obtaining happiness, and it provides 21 fun tips on how to please your man in bed.
anyway, if you’re looking for another book to shove in your fat face, check out Inder’s book at Booklocker. itll make you a better person.
also, check out inder’s blog/site Demand More. its like this site, but useful.

Let me make sure I’ve got it right. Inder wants us to buy his book online which tells us to stop buying things and spend less time online?
Ingenious. OK, so maybe law school is good for something.
THE RESURRECTED DEAD, NOW IMMORTAL, LIVE AMONG US ; A MANUAL FOR IMMORTALITY
- crazy, Yoda was right.
does this mean i don’t have to be a lawyer either? or is inder a lawyer as well as a book-writing, blog-making genius?
i can never get enough good recommendations for new reads. and el moreno, i am quite happy for having a friend. that’s a good thing.
for you having a friend that is. but i’ll take a new one anytime too.
inders sweet dude
I’m happy to hear about your new friend.
that sounds really cool… well, if you guys do that im prolly just gonna go home.
just to clarify, inder is not a new friend. in fact he was the original drummer for Via Violenta but quit the band because we had too many “mistresses”.
