    SO excited!

    That was rather surreal.

    Postmodernism at its best.

No message from me because I am self-conscious about my voice.

This is neat! I look forward to more podcasts. Cuidate.

This is some cool shit bro!!! Aside from the BORING song from Andrew Bird, the whole thing was pretty enjoyable. Aside from you and CindyLu, this was the first time I have heard the voice of some of the bloggers to your site. And like the Avators, it adds a certain personal element to our conversations.

My recommendations for your next podcast, should you decide to make another, is add the ability to partition sections so that we can skip sections that are not interesting (Thinking of Andrew Bird here). Oh yeah, and maybe some hip hop, with an emphasis on Compton Genre rap (The Game?), would be more appealing.

One last thing, before I forget, what is your number in Mexico? Just in case I want to talk to you personally….

With that said, I am out….Woooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Ai HP, that Andrew Bird song was pretty damn cool! ~ :) ~ Oso, great work on the 1st podcast hombre! I second cindylu’s emotion: I look forward to more podcasts ~ bring on the updates from Monterrey y más música por favor! :) ~ mari

Thanks y’all. After learning how to use Audacity, making a podcast is surprisingly straightforward so I hope to be hearing some familiar voices soon. And please keep those voice mails and stories coming.

Also, I’m curious, did anyone actually use podcasting software like iPodder or Nimiq to download the mp3?

    Xolo,

I have met you and I don’t understand how you could possibly be self-conciouss about your voice.

    HP,

Did I forget to mention that Andrew Bird was also the fiddler for N.W.A.? Obviously your taste in hip-hop has gotten too commercial. I think you might be looking for the fast forward button. It’s the one with the two arrows. And next podcast I’ll make sure to lay down some real gangsta ass shit. word.

    Mari,

Thanks, I’ll make sure to cover Monterrey life more next podcast and in upcoming posts. I had underestimated 30 minutes.

    Osito,
I think you may have forgotton the link to Elizabeth.

Que verguenza. I’m so bad at multi-tasking. Thanks Elena.

  9. 9mykeNo Gravatar from United States says:

i used ipodder … for the mac … ipodderx is nice though it’s not free but it’s shareware price is cheap so i may buy it … and i’m VERY self-conscious about my voice … i have a horribly noticeable accent.

myke, you have a beautiful voice.

love the podcast, but you gave your address at el-oso.com, which takes you to El Oso Records. Of course, I already knew your site address. =)

    More soon, I hope!

Yeah, I just listened to the podcast for the first time (all the way through) myself last night and I heard a lot of mistakes. Especially with how I mixed the different volume levels, etc. It sounds a lot different (better) when played in the software and through my headphones than through a regular car stereo.

Anyway, lessons learned for next time. Thanks for pointing out the mistake. What happened to your gravatar?

  13. 13rolandogNo Gravatar from Mexico says:

Heh, elizabeth beat me to it (el-oso.net != el-oso.com)… I’m listening to your podcast as I read the other comments and write this down. (I had downloaded the mp3 file, but never listened to it until now!)

Dude, that was a cool podcast… and, like HP, it’s the first time to hear other el-oso blogger fans. (and yours and your gf’s voice as well)

Heh, nice previewing system. 3:19 over here. I found the way of doing it… now i’ll try to use a similar commenting system in blogger, but I dunno how to accomplish that. It seems I’ll have to learn those darned ‘blogger hacks’.

Anyhow, now I’m all hyped up and want to find out how to make my feed compatible with podcasting… but it seems that I’m going to have to transform it to RSS with feedburner.
