I dunno. Maybe an oxymoron … but Mexican guys, for example, also seem a lot more apt to give each other a big hug in public than American guys. And yeah, adding an e to the beginning of all English words with start with s is one of the central rules in speaking English in Spanish. Whenever my girlfriend or one of her friends brings up marriage and kids, I always say, “I no espeaka espanish.”

I agree with you, blogging in two languages on the same blog is going to be a big challenge. If anyone’s shown that it can be done though, it’s you. Plus, there are already a few Mexicans who read the blog in English so I hope they help me bring the two worlds together.

By the way, I was looking for a name for the podcast, and I think you just came up with it.

I’m pretty sure that my skype login is right. I haven’t logged in for a long time. Yesterday … finally … we got everything completely worked out to get broadband in our house. $100 activation fee and $35 a month for DSL. It’s unbelievable that one man controls all telecommunication in this country.

We’re gonna be outta town this weekend, but come Monday or Tuesday, the house should be connected. It’ll be cool to rap over skype.

You mean I can’t just go to law school and not take the bar? I only came here because I thought “Juris Doctor” sounded cool. That and because getting a job didn’t seem all that appealing. Good luck to you, I’m sure you won’t need it.

I’d love to move to WP, but that means redoing my site – I’m getting bored with the minimalist look. But I’m far too lazy to do a redesign at the moment.

I tried to add you to skype, but it was giving me some crap about not finding your user name. Of course, I’m not entirely sure that it will work on the wireless connection I was on anyway..

I was going to go up there in March…but the only dates I could go, the dates that lie in between the UCSD quarter system, fall on semana santa. I would feel real guilty partying and hitting the night life during semana santa. Also, my boy that lives in Edinburg Texas, he is on strict probation for the next couple months, and would be risking alot to cross the border into Mexico. So I am postponing it until the next quarter break, sometime in May/June time frame.
