Sup y’all.
While we all fine tune our arguments against HP, I’ve got a public service announcement. Our nearest and dearest Elena from Elenamary.com is scrounging up some cabbage for a Louisiana Road Trip for a New Majority. So if you feel like you coulda done more this past election … and you’re employed … why not give your monthly tithe to her and help make a difference.
HP and Derek and I all met up for beers on Friday. They both confessed that they really want to be liberals, but that they don’t have the fashion sense.
But seriously … they’re cool guys … the fifth and sixth bloggers (after Joe, Karen, Elenita, and Reza) that I’ve met in person only after having read their weblogs for a while first. In all six cases I was surprised by just how different (and real) the person is than you expect after simply reading their blog.
Hopefully we’ll organize some sort of bloggers meetup here in San Diego soon.

It’s the shirt, I could never bring myself to wear a Che shirt…;)
Oso, via you I have made many a blog friend connections. It is funny how many of us communicate with each other, offer encouragement, advice etc. And for the most part I think the circle is pretty connected. Woojay, Daily Texican, Yonder Lies it, etc. Thank goodness we aren’t connected via STDster.
thanks for the link.
Hasta la next meetup siempre.
Around the PBA
I must have missed this the other day, an article about the Other Christians in the election. This is cool, Mike in Iraq answers some schoolkids questions about the war. Thanks to Pesky Apostrophe for providing more details on the…
man, sorry i’ve not commented in a bit. was a hella last week and then this morning i found out one of my fellow gay bloggers was hit by a car in what appears to be a deliberate hate crime. had me real torn up.
hey … my eye was caught by blog convention in san diego. does that include free floor space for sleeping bags for east coasters???
just kidding. maybe.
as long as babies are welcome
Oso, I’ve been thinking for a while now that there are two things I’d like to do: meet local bloggers here in San Diego, and brush up on my Spanish. I mean, I took about a gajillion years of Spanish in high school and college, and I live, what, 30 miles from Mexico? Yet my Spanish-language skills are pathetic. And yet I figure if I only got a little bit of practice, it would come back to me.
The solution to these two problems suggests itself.
HispanicPundit, I’ve never met you but when I look into the mirror, I conclude that anyone who is not actually wearing a canvas sack for clothing will have no problem meeting the minimum clothing requirements for liberal.
