La Revanche

h1 Posted 4 years ago around lunchtime by oso

Moreno’s post reminds me that there is only one reason we are put on this planet.
And that is revenge.
Which is why I will be spending the rest of my day writing spiteful comments about all those high school teachers bent on filling what should have been the greatest years of my life with meaningless paperwork [...]

THE OLYMPICS ARE OVER….or are they???

h1 Posted 4 years ago at around evening time by moreno

Seriously, I dont know. I thought I heard the music from a medal ceremony blasting on the tv downstairs but that might have been an episode of The Practice: Miami Victims Unit. Either way I started chanting “U-S-A” until my neighbor started banging on the wall. Hey buddy, if you hate America so much, [...]

Nader’s New Book

h1 Posted 4 years ago in the early morning by oso

Bakan argues that corporations behave ”pathologically” because of their inherent logic and legal obligation to pursue profit without regard to external costs borne by others. Nader says he made a similar argument to a conference of psychologists years ago. Both then seek to show how the restraints that hold this drive in check — unions, [...]

I’m back like Swarzanegger

h1 Posted 4 years ago mid-morning by oso

It’s been a busy week. Besides working full time and keeping my lil’ sister serious about studying this school year, Elenita has been visiting this past week so we’ve been doing the type of stuff that I usually don’t get to do nearly enough: Old Town, MOPA, eating at Pokez. We also had lunch with [...]

Come and knock on our door, terrorists. We’ve been waiting for you

h1 Posted 4 years, 1 month ago in the early afternoon by moreno

well Oso was right. There’s no way I could avoid posting on today; that infamous day when, one year ago today, John Ritter passed away. I think our great Secretary of Defense Ronald Dumsfeld said it best in his speech today:
“They [John Ritter] live[s] on as a testament to a country [...]
