THE OLYMPICS ARE OVER….or are they???

Seriously, I dont know. I thought I heard the music from a medal ceremony blasting on the tv downstairs but that might have been an episode of The Practice: Miami Victims Unit. Either way I started chanting “U-S-A” until my neighbor started banging on the wall. Hey buddy, if you hate America so much, why don’t you leave? damn hippy.

Well its been a while since I posted, Law school has been keeping me real busy. We have this one teacher here, Professor Shumacher who insists on..wait a minute, thats Abogado’s life, not mine. Sorry.

Got back from seeing our friends The Bedouin Thieves at Southpaw for the Brooklyn New Music Festival. How we didn’t get on that billing I have no idea. If we ever hire a manager, he’s fired.

Well I’m still broke, staying at home sending out resumes and checking this blog 25 times a day looking for some kind of stimulation since eating is no longer an option. I hope to some day become part of the working class and pay taxes and get them cut and worry about the economy and the bullish activity of the market…but for now it’s reading internet articles about steroids and the benefits of proper dog grooming.

Weather out here has taken a turn for the cold.

Let’s see, what else is in the news today. John Kerry shows to be making considerable improvement in the polls….the North Poll! (hold for laughter) I’ve been exposed to a lot of activist material lately, I saw Outfoxed, the documentary about how accurate the Fox News Channel is. That was hilarious, I hope they make a sequel. I’m also in the process of watching The Corporation which documents the rise of the Corporation in America and how their immense wealth and affluence has given them unlimited power. Chomsky says stuff, Michael Moore says stuff, Naomi Klein says stuff, and the CEO of Goodyear Tires says stuff. Needless to say its non-stop action. I’ve also been reading Zinn’s People’s History. What these have all taught me is that I missed the wagon: I should’ve been a business major and made millions at the expense of the poor and third world nations. I see how these people have no qualms in doing this, they are able to justify it to themselves, and its really quite interesting. I wish I was born without a conscience too. Thanks again, Jesus.

And now for the plug you’ve all been waiting for. For all of you Oso-heads out here on the east coast, Via Violenta is playing this Monday Sept. 20th @ Lit Lounge @ 8:30pm for $5. We promise to behave this time and play the right chords for the right songs.
