Actually, I’m surprised that the video is getting so much media attention. Take a trip to Katmandu and count how many dogs you see getting kicked around in one day. I remember seeing a 10-year-old clubbing a dog over the head with a metal bat. I told him to stop and his dad came over to tell me to mind my own business.
Reminds me of a great song my friend Scott wrote entitled “Third World Dog Blues.”
Of course, the video would be much funnier if it was the chickens kicking around the workers.
I remember seeing dogs being kicked around in the streets in Cairo and feeling really sad for them until I saw the same thing happen to a little homeless boy.
