Ok so I said that Via Violenta was playing their first show at CBGB’s on Sat July 9th. My girl Priya was quick to point out that Sat July 9th does not exist. I don’t know what i was thinking when i posted that, but I was wrong. Blame it on the Maalox…thats my new excuse for everything. Anyway, the show is on Saturday July 17 at CBGB’s. Sorry for any confusion. word on the street is that it costs $10 so I recommend that no one go.
I wish God were alive to see this.

I just got the title for the blog. That’s hilarious. It’s almost like coercion as well. Almost the perfect joke…the elusive holy grail of word play. BTW, I wanna make this comment my own blog apparently. The Daily Show was awesome tonight and I hope if it repeats manana (sandwich) someone gets a chance to see the interview with Wolf Blitzer where John Stewart pooh-pooh’s the media.
josh, im sorry but i have no idea what youre talking about. the title of the blog “el oso and el moreno?” or the title of the post “correcion”. only the first one is funny, but only the second one sounds like “coercion” and it is far from hilarious. i guess that just means youve finally lost it. well, it happened later than most of us expected. and sorry, i dont get cable but i did have a dream about jon stewart interviewing a wolf last nite. he was asking the wolf about the quick Nazi invasion of Poland. The wolf replied “who am i, wolf blitzkrieg?” you can use that one, i know you will anyway.
