Let me tell you, In a Sentimental Moon by John Coltrane is one of my god damndest favorite songs of all time and if you haven’t heard it, you should steal it right now. Why should you steal it? ‘Cause Coltrane sadly is long since deceased and if you bought the record it would just line the pockets of some sleazy record exec.

So my intention was to continue the story from Kuala Lumpur and explain how Kevin and I just barely survived the attack of two ferocious Sumatran bears in the wild with nothing but our bare hands and a water bottle, but I got caught up with emails, putting some new photos up, and reading the news.

So I’ll hammer out the death defying story somewhere between here and Bangkok. Or between Bangkok and Taipei. Or between Taipei and Los Angeles. It’s gonna be a long day.

Robert “the king of morning flatulence” Olson will be picking me up from LAX and I thank him. And I thank god that I don’t have to wake up next to him tomorrow morning.
