Garlic Naan in Penang

So happy to hear that Moreno has landed safely and softly in Brooktown. And can you believe it - he already found a good spot to practice his favorite past time: throwing granite at unsuspecting hipsters.

I myself have landed safely and softly in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia after a 22 hour epic journey from Koh Pha Ngan, Thailand including a thunderstorm at sea, a blown out tire and death threats from the driver. And I am in love. I am in love with Penang like Rajeev is in love with me.

I just had the best plate of chicken tandoori with garlic naan since Moreno’s mom was courting me. I was overcome with such nostalgia for India and Nepal that I ordered a mango lassi to go along with it and nearly crossed the street afterwards to catch a Bollywood flick.

I have much more that I would like to write than I ever could. So I won’t. And Meatloaf just came on the stereo - a clear call from god to get the fuck out of here.

But if it’s between 9 and 5 and you are deathly bored at work, I’ve put some more pics in the photo section from our one week stay on Koh Pha Ngan.

I’d do anything for love, but I won’t do that

word.
