Doesn’t Washington have one of the highest suicide rates in the country? Maybe Isaac was just feeling homesick, and the thought of people killing themselves over not voting made him feel less depressed as he had to entertain his fans in this godforsaken city called San Diego.

maybe there ARE shitty people at SOMA, but among the hot topic 14 year olds stand the true fans. I don’t care how much isaac rules, I’m not down with the bad vibes. San Diego doesn’t suck either, just be glad you don’t live in some shitty town in new mexico where my friend lives and never get to see any good bands play. The venues/crowd may blow majior dong sometimes, but its about the music. NOT who wears what and who votes and only cool indie kids being allowed in the crowd…screw that noise. I get what you’re sayin…but no one knows who anyone else is going through, EVER. So people should keep the peice and rock out!

Isaac is sweet. Regardless of comments made to a piece of shit crowd at SOMA where Thrice should have been playing…Modest Mouse has no business playing in San Diego…IT SUCKS…the indie scene is just as u said a bunch of punk college kids looking for a new niche. Anyway who knows what Isaac is goin through…i dont vote either and my grandparents and dad yell at me all the time i dont hate them…i think i should become involved and learn what’s going on and have some say in things…viva la Mouse.

That’s really stupid. What an arrogant peice of shit! If I don’t vote I should kill myself? Oh really. Well maybe he should kill himself for not putting out a decent album in 2 years? Personally, I remember the DAY I discovered Modest Mouse. I was in ceramics class jr. year. My friend was rockin out to a mix tape her brother made her, and she recommended that I give it a listen. At that point in time, it was the most unique and amazing thing I had ever heard. Lonesome crowded west was in my cd player for months straight. I remember smoking weed in the san dieguito parking lot with modest mouse playing in my friends car. Ha. The golden years! So my point is, that’s really disapointing. I would have left in the middle of it, 20 dollars or not. Maybe more kids would vote if MTV did a little more than that shitty “rock the vote” show that no one watches. If they payed more attention to getting kids involved in voting, than making shows about getting plastic surgury and looking cool we wouldn’t have a problem. The un-informed can’t vote, it’s not a goddamned multiple choice test you can guess on. It’s the future of this country, and if the people voting are un-informed, we might make the wrong choice. The future is important. If you’re not ready to vote, don’t. So fuck that asshole for telling his fans for killing themselves.
