So, the Elefant show was off the hook last night. They’ve only got one album out (see down on the bottom of the side bar) so we all pretty much knew what to expect, but they still put on a great show.

Unfortunately we got there right after Roots of Orchis finished playing so I wasn’t able to check them out, but friends said they played a solid set. Did get a chance to talk with bassist and high school friend, Jackie though. Drunk coversations in rock clubs are never the best way to catch up, but it was good to see him. Opening before Elefant was Stars - I put a link to their CD down at the bottom of the sidebar. They were for sure the surprise of the night - it’s gonna be a tough choice for tomorrow’s mp3 of the week.

The girls definitely had a few drinks (too many:?:) last night and Laura, at least, is paying for it today. It’s 2 pm and she’s still in bed feeling :oops:. Anne, if you read this, leave a comment or send me an email and let me know the outcome of G’s exploits.

Next concert for me - Modest Mouse at Soma March 22nd. There still might be some tix for sell online.
