So much to say, so many thoughts swirling around my head, people to thank, notes to mention, articles to site, to comment on. I could write for hours. I’ve also been neglecting some serious responsibilities and loved ones so I’m forcing myself to take it slow, let things take shape like the waves I saw crashing along 101 yesterday.
I was driving up to work yesterday looking out over the ocean, the shades of cold blues and greys stretching out to the foggy horizon when a strange feeling overcame me. A feeling of beauty of everything being just the way it should be. I gripped the steering wheel tighter, wanting to smile, there by myself in my car, just looking over the ocean, just feeling complete contentment.
I’ve felt this surge of energy before, but not in a long time. I parked behind Miracles, made myself a Soy Chai and walked over to take a few pics of Cardiff State Beach before clocking in. I just couldn’t seem to get used to how beautiful everything looked, couldn’t figure out how it is so easy to take for granted.

Thanks for the great pics! Reminds me of what I am missing
even though Kentucky has its beautiful countryside: http://www.uky.edu/AS/English/courses/benton/photos.html … it can’t compare to my favorite haunts in Ocean, Point Loma, Mission/Pacific, La Jolla, and Black’s, Del Mar beaches and Highway 101…
