It was Fat Tuesday last night and Kevin, Anne, Raman, Revaz, Julia, and I all headed down to Gaslamp to check out the scene. We weren’t down with paying the fifteen dollars to get in though so we spent most of the first hour walking around trying to find a way to sneak in and then giving up and drinking at Hennesy’s with the other people unwilling to pay $15 dollars who had also given up trying to sneak in. Drinks were a little pricey and Hennesy’s isn’t my favorite place, but it was a fun night regardless. And we finally got out of Pacific Beach.
Props to the city of San Diego for the free trolly service - next time it should be publicized better. PB Block Party on May 8th will be the next drunk fest in San Diego.
