Mr. Oso (if that’s what your name really is): where is Laura and what have you done with her? We know what the plan is and we don’t particularly like it. In fact we are whole-heartedly against it. Kidnapping is a serious crime…even in Mexico, we want to know your demands and when you plan on returning her to San Diego.

On a more serious note, I have nothing serious to note. In that case I will attempt to ramble. You were fortunate enough to be out of earshot when our President condemned our world to indefinate pergatory in his perennial state of the union shenanigans. Sane people hope it to be his last state of the union shenanigan, but sane people know better. Anyway, the bottom line is that we will have men walking on Mars, but public school kids still won’t be able to point to their home state on a map. And in 25 years our illegitimate children will wonder out loud why all the rich white republicans picked up and moved to the next planet over while we are all stuck cleaning up the delapidated Wal-Mart’s that lay abandoned on 3 out of 4 American intersections (not to mention the millions of Starbuck’s compilation cd’s left in the Tower Records used sections that will have to be burned for heat). Our future looks dim….unless we are speaking in terms of UV rays, in which case our future is bright…quite bright indeed. From this perspective the tax cuts all come into…well, perspective. How else are they going to save up for the million mile journey into space with room to spare for their Louis Viton bags?

I would like to start a new category on this website. We will call it the “Life Would be Amazing If…” category, and the idea behind it would be that every post would start with the aforementioned tagline, or something similar. But not too different. That would belong in another category.
