Last night, after Laura got new glasses, we went to La Joya Taqueria to have some tacos al pastor. I don’t know why they don’t have these taco al pastor stands in San Diego – a thousand times better than your usual Robertos or Filibertos. I also don’t know why we misspell La Jolla. Anyway, there was some Hollywood action flick on the television with the lead singer from the RH Chili Peppers playing one of the bad guys, but what was classic was every time there was a scene with too much violence or nudity, a lawn mower in slow motion cutting grass would appear. It took me a while to realize the symbolism – that a scene was being cut out.
Anyway … tomorrow’s New Year’s Eve - I hope everyone is drunk and licking mouth at midnight.
